Michael Reginbogin

Michael Reginbogin is the Founder & Principal of Washington, D.C.-based KNEAD Hospitality + Design, a boutique restaurant and design firm which owns and operates a number of restaurant concepts including SUCCOTASH, helmed by Culinary Director Edward Lee, and the upcoming Mi Vida in collaboration with Culinary Director Roberto Santibañez. Additionally, Michael serves as KNEAD HD’s Design Director for restaurant and residential projects in Washington, D.C., Miami and New York. Launching KNEAD Hospitality + Design with co-founder Jason Berry has been a career pinnacle for Michael, who brings almost two decades of industry experience to the venture. Michael designed their first restaurant project, SUCCOTASH, which opened in National Harbor in 2015, and is currently designing the next location of SUCCOTASH in a 9,500 square foot historic landmarked bank building in Downtown Washington, D.C. as well as the upcoming 10,000+ square foot "Mi Vida,” a collaboration with chef Roberto Santibañez, opening in DC’s highly anticipated development, "The Wharf," in late 2017. A California native, Michael cut his teeth in the restaurant industry with the Houston’s/Hillstone family of restaurants, which he considers the foundation for the career path that followed, including leadership roles at respected restaurant groups around the country including TAO New York, BR Guest Restaurant Group, Samba Brands Management, Dream Hotels, and more.

Jason Berry

Jason Berry grew up in Los Angeles with a passion for cooking and dining. From a young age, he gravitated to the restaurant industry where his love of all things food could be combined with a deep respect for genuine hospitality. He received a BS in Business Entrepreneurship and Japanese from the University of Southern California and later earned an MBA in marketing from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. During more than two decades in the restaurant business, Jason has worked with a wide variety of concepts from Wendy’s to California Pizza Kitchen and Houston’s (now Hillstone) in both front and back of house positions. In 2004 he joined Rosa Mexicano as Regional Director of Operations, overseeing the company’s growth from three to 19 locations around the world and leading an overhaul of the corporate beverage program. He was named Chief Operating Officer in 2011. In 2014, Jason moved to Washington, D.C. and formed KNEAD Hospitality + Design with his partner Michael Reginbogin. Together, they have collaborated on the design and launch of SUCCOTASH restaurant in National Harbor with Culinary Director Edward Lee, which will add a second location in D.C.’s Penn Quarter neighborhood in 2017. KNEAD HD will open its next concept, Mi Vida, in collaboration with Culinary Director Roberto Santibañez, at DC waterfront development The Wharf in late 2017.
